Alvas Showroom and Jazz at the Beach and present the Cal State Long Beach Latin Jazz Orchestra at 8:00pm on Monday, April 13th. This newly formed big band with Latin percussion is directed by Jeff Jarvis and has quickly become a powerhouse ensemble that performs a variety of Afro-Cuban, Brazilian, Dominican, and Puerto Rican music. Wherever they perform, the audiences are impressed with their mixture of musical excitement, polished technique, and just plain fun! You won’t want to miss this special off-campus engagement.
