Philadelphia based pianist Junwen Liang presents Echoes Across Horizons: American Voices in Classical Piano, an engaging exploration of the many voices and traditions that have shaped American music. Featuring works by Amy Beach, Florence Price, Tan Dun and more, alongside beloved melodies from American musical theatre, the program moves between lyricism, virtuosity, cultural memory, and imagination. Through brief spoken introductions, Liang invites audiences into the stories behind the music while reflecting on his own journey as an international musician who has studied, performed, and built his artistic life in the United States for more than a decade.
